We regularly have classic Jaguars in our collection and have already sold many XKs in Holland and abroad. Once again we can offer you a particularly beautifully restored car on behalf of the owner!! This is actually the most beautiful of the series, the XK120 OTS. The lines of this model are truly one of the most beautiful in the car industry and are characterized by simplicity and sportiness. And what about the color scheme? It is also one of the nicest available for this model. In 1953, but nowadays very topical again. Like so many XKs, this copy was also delivered new to America, to the well-known distributor Hoffman in New York. This is evident from the heritage certificate that comes with the car. This also shows that the color, engine number, and all other numbers are still the same as when the car left the factory.
In March 2012 the car was purchased by Mr. Kurt Rappold from Glen Mills PA with the intention of doing a body-off restoration, but it never got to that point. Ultimately, the car was purchased by the current owner in May 2019, who would have this complete restoration carried out. The starting point was that it would become "eligible" for the Mille Miglia, and thus originality and reliability became a fixed starting point for this restoration. The bodywork was done by Ooto, concluded with a KTL treatment by the Autobeitserij. The engine was overhauled by the Helmond engine overhaul, and a Getrag five-speed gearbox was installed (original gearbox present with the car). A custom interior was made by Bergwerff interiors and the XK was subsequently adjusted on the test bench at BAS car service.
Once completely ready, a FIVA identity card was issued and the car received a Mille Miglia eligible passport. The Jaguar has currently been driven a few thousand kilometers and in 2022 it took part in the grand premio Nuvolari. So the reliability is good!!
