Land Rover Classic Series 2, 1959.
Here we have a very nice series 2 Classic land rover for sale.
The land rover has previously had a replacement chassis and bulkhead .
When the land rover was previously restored it was also fitted with a new canvas hood which enhances the "typical classic land rover look"
This land rover has a 2. 5 land rover diesel engine , this gives a useable amount of power in a series Land Rover, is a good reliable unit and provides good fuel economy as was the type used by the British army in there 90's and 110's in the 1980's
The gearbox has also been converted to have synchromesh on all forward gears so making the land rover easier to change gears, as is the case on series 3 land rover's.
The body on this Land Rover can only be described as excellent with extremely straight panels and very nice paintwork.
