This A65 Scrambler was built in 1971 but as an American import, it was first registered in the UK in 1992. It has been in the current ownership for twelve years and has been very well maintained. In 2020, a complete engine rebuild and crankshaft regrind was carried out at a cost of some £4500, which followed on from previous thorough mechanical work in 2013. The machine has covered approximately 400 miles since. We are told that new Avon tyres are fitted, the chain and sprockets have been renewed, Amal carburettors are recent replacements and the motorcycle has electronic ignition. Visually, it is in superb original condition and ready to enjoy - an ideal candidate for VMWW events and road runs. The performance machine sounds fabulous.
The history file contains the workshop manual, parts lists, a file of data for maintenance, invoices, MOT tests and the V5C registration certificate.
