1987 Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue Edition. Advertising this beauty on behalf of one of our customers. This car was made for Export and spent its life being pampered in Norway till 2020 when it came to the UK. Our customer has had it since 2021. Its only covered 35000 Miles and is in superb condition. Hes won several trophies with it and it comes with a boot full of spares. The car doesnt need them but the owner bought stuff when he found it available. It comes with the private plate C5 FTH, a history file containing invoices for money spent and details of the overseas owners, of which there appears to be 3. This has to be the most comfortable car I have ever sat in!!!
Body - Chrysler New Yorker Fifth Avenue. Im told the Fifth Avenue had the extended rear window section separating it from the lesser models. The car is rock solid from front to back. It all looks very original with perfect panel gaps. Paintwork is lovely in black with the contrasting red coachline. Bumpers and chromework are all nice and straight. Window rubbers and seals are all good.
Mechanics - Original 5. 2 V8 which purrs into life no problem. This car drives superb. It doesnt really drive it glides along the road. Everything works as it should, including the electric seats , windows and all the gauges. Its hard to say much more about something thats as good as this as theres not any bad points.
Interior - Really cool red interior which is super comfy and immaculate. It doesnt look like the back seats have ever been used. Its like something youd expect to see Huggy Bear driving. You may be too young to remember him but some will. Everything inside is like new. Small part of headlining starting to sag ever so slightly but nothing id worry about in the short term.
Wheels - Original steels with wire look hubcaps. Again all in very good condition. Tyres are very good and look fairly recent.
