Description
Bains Classic Motor House is extremely privileged to bring this amazing vehicle to market.
Having been in the same family ownership for 59 years, it is now time for a new custodian to enjoy this very special vehicle.
Built in 1925 and bodied by the renowned coach builders “Griffin” this 30-98 OE has spent a large portion of its 99 years in the United Kingdom. With a well-documented history and some very interesting owners, the paperwork that accompanies this vehicle makes for intriguing reading.
The car made its way to New Zealand in 2002 when the current owner emigrated here. Having been well campaigned and extensively toured through England and Europe the car has now covered much of New Zealand including tours in both North and South Islands. This is a truly motorable vehicle with a new hood, glass wind-up front windows and full side screens in the rear.
Very rarely do such mellow, patinated vehicles survive, without being destroyed by a glossy restoration. I personally believe that this is as good as it gets for a preservation class car. Viewing and test driving of this vehicle will not disappoint.
