Not many cars boast the character and joy of a classic Fiat 500 - A winner of many accolades (Top Gears Sexiest ever car, Compasso d'Oro Industrial Design Award) the Fiat 500 is a car that is universally loved by all. A real eternal classic!
This particular example has been with the current owners since it was imported from Italy in 2008, when it was purchased as a birthday present - Since then, it has been lovingly cared for and upgraded into the car for sale today, a stunning example of one of the greatest cars ever made!
Exterior
The exterior and bodywork of the vehicle is in exceptional condition - There is no damage to note, All trim pieces and badges (Including backdated ‘Nuova500' badge) are present and correct, in excellent / new condition. The white paintwork is in great condition, with plenty of shine and only some minor blemishes upon inspection. There is no sign of corrosion throughout the car. All brightwork presents extremely well with graphite wheels to add contrast. The canvas ‘checker’ sunroof is in new condition.
Interior
The exceptional condition of the vehicle extends into the interior - The 500’s red interior with white piping contrasts the white exterior well, and has no cracking, fading or tears. All switches and dials work as expected and the interior is improved with the addition of a beautiful Abarth steering wheel.
Mechanical
Mechanically, the car runs & drives well - It fires into life, and tootles around town as expected. Being unassisted drum brakes, these are limited (As with all original 500’s!). It has been converted to run Electronic Ignition and features a lovely Abarth sump that just peeks from underneath the vehicle.
The previous owner was a trained Maserati Technician with his own Maserati specialist workshop, and has ensured that the 500 has received everything it has needed throughout it’s life.
