LOTUS ELAN CORRECT TYPE 45 DHC SPRINT 1973 RARE MONOTONE LOTUS YELLOW VGC
Genuine factory Type 46 1973 DHC Sprint. Factory Monotone Yellow. Paintwork is nearly all original so has various scuffs, blisters and crazing but essentially all original. The car was a one owner vehicle from 1978 until 2021. The car has previously been fitted with a Lotus galvanised chassis, rebuilt suspension etc. Recent work: full engine rebuild to standard specification with ARP rod bolts and a full balance, carbs overhauled and detailed, overhauled distributor by Distributor Dr and fitted with electronic ignition, electric fuel pump conversion, radiator rebuilt and upgraded core, gearbox overhauled, diff overhauled, hydraulic circuit stripped, checked and resealed. New discs and pads fitted, solid CV type drive shafts fitted, new adjustable dampers and springs fitted by GAZ, total rewire, five new tyres. Various other work has been carried out to bring this car up to a very good mechanical condition and a superb driver. Very smart looking car.
