1968 Morris Minor 1000 Convertible. Almond Green with Green Ambla upholstery and Beige hood. This outstanding Morris has been with its last owner for 14 years who garaged the car using it only for local shows and weekend dry runs & covered only 3000 miles. A post production convertible It was a complete nut and bolt rebuild a number of years ago to very high standard by renowned Minor specialist Minorite U. K Ltd of Leicester with their brass plaque still adorning the bulkhead. It still presents beautifully today and is a real credit to its last keeper and is just as good on the underside. Over the years it has had some subtle upgrades which include an unleaded conversion, a servo for improved brake performance and electronic ignition whilst still retaining its originality, most recently a new carburettor has been fitted. Running and driving just as you would expect with its trademark exhaust parp it doesn’t disappoint on certainly puts smiles on the faces of passers by.
