The third-generation Subaru Impreza WRX STi, produced from 2007 to 2014, marked a significant shift in the model’s design and performance capabilities. This generation, based on the Subaru Impreza GE/ GH/ GR chassis, departed from the traditional saloon only body style by introducing a hatchback variant, which quickly became popular among enthusiasts for its practicality and distinctive look, although within a few years a 4-door version was back on sale. The WRX STi continued to be powered by Subaru’s signature turbocharged 2. 5-litre flat-four engine, known for its robust performance and rally heritage. Significant advancements in this generation included an improved all-wheel-drive system with Driver Controlled Centre Differential (DCCD) and updated suspension for better handling. The 2011 facelift brought sharper styling and enhanced aerodynamics, reinforcing the STi's aggressive stance. Throughout its production, the third-generation WRX STi maintained its reputation as a rally-bred, high-performance machine, balancing everyday usability with thrilling driving dynamics, and cementing its status as a favourite among driving enthusiasts and motorsport fans alike.
We are delighted to offer this 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Type UK presented in Satin White Pearl with black leather / Alcantara interior. First registered in April 2011, this is a Type UK car with the 2. 5 litre flat four developed by Prodrive for Subaru, producing 325 bhp. The service book records 7 services with an additional 8th supported by a paper invoice. In the last couple of years it has had a couple of warranty recalls attended to involving the passenger air bag and brake light switch - it’s always encouraging to see a vendor keeping up with these things. The car has been fitted with a high quality Invidia stainless steel exhaust which sounds fabulous.
Whilst the STi hatches were fine looking things there is something that is just right about the 4-door car, invoking all that fabulous rally heritage. This example benefits from the rear wing that not all STis had and in our opinion looks all the better for it. The pearlescent white paint has clearly been looked after and presents well with only a few age-related marks. Inside the car is just as nice, sporting aggressive-looking, half leather Recaros with red stitching and an upgraded Sony touchscreen stereo, supporting both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interior condition is lovely and could easily belong to a much younger car. The specification for these cars was strong with air conditioning and cruise control as standard.

Few cars have managed to combine huge pace, secure handling, rally-inspired styling and day to day practicality as perfectly as Subaru did with the Impreza STi. It’s a car that has earned its legacy and only becomes more popular as modern cars become more sanitised. This car has clearly been loved and only very mildly modified with well-considered parts that enhance the standard car. With only 377 of this model believed to be on the roads, don’t miss out on this fine example.
