1936 Triumph 5/ 2 cross over model. 500cc OHV twin port.
This bike is a part finished project. I sold this as a running project about ten years ago. The engine had been rebuilt and is a good runner. In between a lot of correct parts have been found for the bike. So note the rare wide ribbed guards... original.. not available repro. The H52 headlamp, the correct oil tank, the pre war speedo, the correct tool boxes, the rare foot change etc etc. So this is all authentic parts, nothing repro. The bike now wants knocking down for painting. The mag has gone down in the intervening years, so it needs the mag doing. Painted and registered this bike is easily 10k+ as it is the cross over model. That relates to the year that Edward Turner arrived at Triumph and started to make changes to the model range. the details below for viewing.
