Back in 1989 Mr Lawrence from Chessington on the outskirts of London treated himself to a brand spanking new Italian built Di Blasi R7 folding moped, fully UK road registered he used it on 2 or 3 occasions on caravan holidays over the next couple of years and then stored it in his loft and it stayed there for approximately 30 years until his son recently uncovered it.
It’s in remarkable original condition, never been altered, painted, touched up or messed with, starts very easily, runs & rides spot on, everything works, great brakes, tyres still have pips on the sidewalls, the horn and lights work, no damage to the seat, foot pegs are unmarked with no wear as are handle bar grips, it folds and unfolds as it should and its absolutely great fun to ride about.
Complete with the original (checked and still valid) logbook showing 1 original owner, the original bill of sale, a tax reminder and an insurance letter all in Mr Lawrence’s name and address, plus the original typed out in English folding instruction, an original A5 advert flyer and the original folding Di Blasi instruction booklet, it even has the tool kit still clipped under the rear luggage rack and we have one period phot of the bike on a caravan site.
It's a 2 stroke petrol oil mix, so stress about modern fuel as your adding the lubrication anyway. It has very, very light pitting to the chrome and paint if you gate up really close to inspect.
Folding and unfolding is easy, a well trained dog could do it (see pics) and it really is tiny when folded and will fit the smallest car boot and can be picked up and carried. Ideal for camper vans, motorhomes, festivals, caravaners, shows and general use.
This is a complete one off condition, retro ride, folding moped, there may be the odd other one about, but you’ll never find another this good. It will start endless conversations and debates and be admired wherever its unfolded or ridden too, what a little belter.
This was bought with intention of keeping it for ourselves, but we have too many toys and it needs to be admired, not stuck gathering dust. Sold as a collector’s item with guaranteed smile ever mile.

We can get this little compact bundle of fun to most of the UK for only £35 on a half pallet, no forklift required will come on a tail lift truck. Collection and other delivery options available.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
