1954 Willys Jeep, recently imported from South Africa so its right hand drive, never seen salt, hardly seen any rain, fully UK registered with a new MOT to August 2025, all working spot on and very well presented, drive it away today and have some affordable Willys Jeep motoring adventures.

Completely solid, front to back, never been welded, very straight and solid panels, no damage to the seats, no rips in the hood, everything works as intended, 2200cc 4 cylinder petrol engine, selectable 4x4 / 4x2 with free wheeling front hubs, hi & low gear ranges, Maxis Bighorn tyres on modular wheels (set of standard steel wheels included). Its just as clean under the bonnet and underneath as it is on top.
It has clearly seen a huge investment in recent years with new wiring, fuel pipes, brake pipes, exhaust, wheels, lights all appear to have been renewed. The paintwork is bright and has a good depth, it does have imperfections, it’s a Jeep not a Rolls Royce, it starts instantly and runs well, we have completed over 30 miles and its never missed a beat.
As a “Historic Vehicle” it’s MOT exempt (but we did one anyway), its tax exempt and ULEZ and all UK low emission zone charges exempt as well. It arrived with a front towing “A” frame fitted, its included and appears to have a light lead to join it to the towing vehicle, we haven’t tried any of this out. Since taking the pictures we have fitted a pair of hand operated wipers, as the original Willys spec, it’s had an exhaust rubber and a new brake light switch, service and replacement parts are readily available from several UK suppliers.
You get what you see in the pics, the main hood and frame, no side screens or doors, we have been out in a downpour and returned dry enough, very little rain gets inside as you trundle along and if this bothers you, you’re looking at the wrong vehicle in the first place.
Ok so its not been on the beach at Dunkirk and its possibly never even seen a real soldier, (the decals can all be removed if desired they are just stickers), but it is a real lot of fun, it has the steering wheel in the right place, its in great condition, its under 10 grand with a new MOT and ready to drive away, if you like what you see, get in touch.

Local delivery within 20 miles of Carlisle is normally for free, further afield we can deliver to most of the UK for £1 per road mile from Carlisle (it will not be delivered by crow), highlands, islands and outlying areas please check with us first. No sorry we can’t deliver for the asking price, the car is at sensible money and we are only covering the fuel cost with the deliver charge.

All viewings are exclusively by timed APPOINTMENT ONLY, we do not have a showroom or display area, items may have to be brought from our secure storage to view and advance notice will be required.
