Description
This is an April 2011, BMW F800ST, supplied by Bahnstormer BMW, Alton, Hampshire.
I’m delighted to have this one back in stock.
Despite being a BMW Airhead specialist, I guess that there are two reasons why I brought this bike into stock. The first, is that although I spend most of my time riding Airheads, I’ve personally owned an F800ST for about 8 years now, and can honestly say that it’s the best all round bike that I’ve ever had. The second, is that this particular bike was ran by a good friend / customer of mine, and it has the most amazing spec and service history.
If, like me, you’re struggling a little with the sheer weight of your Airhead Boxer, these super middleweight machines just may be the answer. They simply do everything so well, without the huge amount of tec that seems to be creeping onto most bikes nowadays.
There is a huge Bahnstormer history folder, containing a comprehensive stack of service invoices, and recorded in the service book. There are a total of 12 services recorded in the book, with some from specialists, but 8 are from main dealer. There’s even the original bill of sale from Bahnstormer in there. Servicing is also totally up to date, with the most recent service only a few hundred miles ago, in June of this year. Obviously HPI clear and MOT’d till the end of Feb 2025.
There is huge factory spec on this particular bike, and includes:
Metallic paint option in light grey
Tyre Pressure Monitor system
LED white indicators
On Board Computer.
Heated grips.
ABS
Factory vario panniers
New Givi top box.
The bike has clearly been cherished from new, having had only four previous owners (and one of them was a trader)
In 2018, the front suspension had a £650 upgrade with the installation of a pair of Adreani cartridges from Brook suspension. This was supplemented in 2020 by the addition of a £750 Nitron two way, remotely adjustable rear shock.
As you can imagine, this suspension combination completely transforms the bikes handling, and elevates it from very capable, to amazing. (build spec and user manuals for the suspension are in the history folder). Tyres are matched Bridgestones and are mint.
There are lots of other nice little touches, such as the subtle bar risers, extended tinted screen, clock visor, and the Pyramid hugger, and I’ve no doubt forgotten to include lots of stuff, but I’m sure you get the picture. If you’re considering one of these superb middleweight machines, this one will certainly not disappoint. No stories, no excuses, just a great bike. More pics and start up video available, just ask. Discounted courier delivery also available.
As ever, I think that I’ve priced it VERY competitively, but even at this price, I’ll consider YOUR bike in part exchange, especially Airhead BMW’s. Flexible viewing days / times available here at JTR Classic BMW, Washington, North East England, but strictly by appointment please.
All the best
John
