The L. E was a run of 1001 cars, 580 gts and 421 Roadsters of the roadsters 208 had painted wire wheels and the rest had the GKN alloy L. E wheels the same as the GTs.
The Bronze paintwork is In fantastic condition all round. Panels, seams and panel gaps are all superb. A new hood has recently been fitted and is accompanied by a full and half tonneau cover.
Mechanically it starts straight up and runs beautifully. It has recently been treated to a new battery, new water pump, radiator re cored, all rubber fuel hoses replaced with Ethanol resistant Cohline hose and new Ethanol resistant needle valves fitted to the carburettors. Previously it’s had a full Stainless Steel exhaust and adjustable rear gas shock absorbers.
Inside, the seats have been retrimmed in leather at a time but do come with the original seat covers to please the purists. The carpets and mats are in great condition and everything works precisely as it should.
On the road it handles perfectly. The engine is smooth, tight precise gear change with working overdrive and it brakes exactly as it should.
An MGB is an ideal classic car for and this example being a special edition is a great investment vehicle that can be enjoyed!
