1950 BENTLEY SPEED 6 LE MANS 8 – RACING GREEN RECREATION
This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire an homage to one of Bentleys greatest cars by the famous Racing Green Company who have had over 40 years’ experience in restoring Bentleys. Finished in British Racing Green with vinyl body trim this rare motor car is utterly gorgeous and much admired. The trim is high-quality leather in green with a black double duck down retractable hood and full tonneau cover.
Clearly this highly detailed modern day evocation example has been well-maintained. It is in immaculate condition having covered a mere 2200 miles and is Tax exempt.
Big and quick, the Bentley original motor cars pummelled the opposition into submission around Le Mans driven by The Bentley Boys causing a massive stir. This faithful recreation was carefully constructed over many months to accurately replicate the build and specification of those factory cars. It is so good that it has been authenticated and has a valuation from The Bentley Drivers’ Club verifying its status. The advantage is that it is designed for modern driving and is appropriate for current road conditions, a pure delight to drive and easier to maintain.
The very limited production means only a discerning few will have the opportunity to enjoy this icon of motoring. The vehicle was completed in 2011 using a MKV1 chassis, it has flown through its subsequent MoT ‘s without advisories.
