Description
Subaru Impreza WRX Sti 2005
Fantastic build, totally been gone through and completed n 2020
All the parts have been purchased new, except for the engine blocks. No cheap Chinese parts have been used!!
Current owner has owned the car for a little over 10 years, during that time all the changes have been made to the car.
Underneath and interior sections were sandblasted and painted with epoxy paint.
Exterior painted in a car paint shop, then ceramic coated by a professional.
All changes made at once, what can be found in the car, engine, safety bars, all parts of the suspension, strength welding of the body, painting, etc... i. e. all parts are almost new.
Less than 5000 km driven since completion.
The pictures are a bit old, but nothing has changed except for a small crack in the fiberglass on the second rear arch flare. The underneath is of course a little bit dirtier now.
During the build phase, every single part of the car was replaced with a new one or old ones were renovated/ improved.
After completion, it has not been stored anywhere other than in a warm garage during summers and winters. It sat still in the garage from December 2021 to July 2024.
During spring/ summer of 2024 the heads were replaced with completely new oem "big port" cylinder heads, completely new Wiseco forged pistons, connecting rod and frame line bearings, head gaskets, cylinders drilled, flat surfaces planed, all engine parts checked and modified if necessary... i. e. comprehensive engine overhaul done. In addition, the seals on the turbo were replaced and checked + balanced after that, so everything in the engine is in top condition.
After the engine overhaul, the car was driven about 200 km, to the dyno and back. It was set-up on the dyno on July 31, 2024 without any problems. The car has been tuned several times on the dyno, the results are always a little different, but on average 600hp/ 650nm is power. The car runs on E85 fuel.
