Extremely rare fast Ford
We are very pleased to offer this extremely nice and very original Ford Sierra XR4i finished in Strato Silver with the unique cloth interior that came with the XR4i. This example was supplied new by Rous (Beyton) Ltd who were the Ford dealer for that area in the 1980s. In fact, they were the first owners of the car back on 30/ 4/ 1984. Going forward, the Ford has only had 5 owners since, who would all appear to have kept it in the condition we see today. The condition is lovely both on the interior, which has no holes as they often do, and the exterior is also very nice.
The paperwork is also very good with a selection of invoices and receipts, and a host of MOTs, which sit nicely with the fresh no advisory MOT that has just been put on it. The mileage shown on the odometer, whilst not guaranteed, is very credible and believable and possibly is correct, as it would appear to have been in various collections for a long part of its life. It also comes with some older V5s, showing details of previous owners and its complete collection of manuals and handbooks, along with a service book containing 9 stamps.
As we all know, fast Fords are a bit of thing but it is usually the Escorts and Fiestas with Capris bringing up the rear. There are very few XR4is around, which must make this example in this condition a very rare car and ultimately more collectable than the others. In fact, we would go as far to say that there is maybe less XR4is than there are RS Cosworths. Check it out, you never know!
