Here at our purpose-built facility in Cheshire, we have a lovely example of a very original factory standard 1987 E30 BMW 320i in the very rare two-door body shell. Finished in arguably one of the best colours of Alpine White with contrasting Grey cloth interior, this example has been in long term storage but has been stored correctly, which is reflected in its amazing condition. It benefits from some recommissioning at BMW Wolverhampton at the tail end of last year, including engine service, new cambelt and new fuel pump.
The specification is rather nice for a BMW from 1987, bearing in mind that nothing was standard back then. It has a manual sunroof, mudflaps and Philips radio cassette. A great specification for the time, and still retains the original supplying dealer registration plates.
With the car being in original factory specification it sits on steel wheels with the correct and perfect wheel trims, which are covered with a matching set of Uniroyal tyres.
The bodywork is very straight and the Vendor is sure that it is the original paintwork, which is very possible, but please feel free to come and have a look and make your own mind up. The interior is in lovely condition throughout and shows little signs of wear, the upholstery is in remarkable condition throughout for the age of the vehicle and still retains the glove box torch and tool kit.
In conclusion, this really is a superb little example that appears to be very original and comes from the same family ownership from new. If you are an 80’s child and like the music, fashion or happier times, this car is a must for you. This typifies everything that was quality and class from the era and if you had one of these back then, you had arrived. How I miss that era!
