The original Scott Flying Squirrel was launched in 1926 and production ran until 1940
Even with TT success in 1929, the model experienced slow sales and production wained
This well known 'Scott Special' was built by talented Scott enthusiast, the late Bruce Simpson
Built between 2003 and 2005 and UK-registered early 2006
Based on an earlier Scott 350 frame with the super rare 500cc twin-carb Scott Swift engine with a Matchless gearbox
The forks, rear swing arm, wheels and brakes are from a Suzuki RGV250
Described at the time by Bruce as 'a Scott for the 2000s'
Complete with an extensive history file documenting the build along with a magazine article where the bike has been featured
Also included are old MOTs, numerous receipts and awards
Presented in running order although hasn't been used for a while, so may require some recommissioning before use
