Honda's VFR sports tourers became the benchmark that all other manufacturer's sports touring motorcycle were judged by. A consumate all-rounder, the VFR is highly regarded throughout the motorcycle world
The 2002 VFR 800 was the first Honda motorcycle built for the worldwide market to feature Honda's VTEC variable-valve system. With four valves per cylinder, the system operates only two in the lower RPM range, operating all four as the revs increase
This example is not equipped with the optional ABS brakes but does have Honda's CBS II linked brake system
