Aermacchi was founded in 1912 by Giulio Macchi. He built his factory in Varese on the shores of the Lago Varese, his factory built world beating aircraft, the most famous being the Macchi C. 202 Folgore (Thunderbolt). After World War II, Aermacchi began to mobilise Italy by manufacturing motorcycles. We have a 1960 Aermacchi 250N ALA Azzurra. She is registered in the United Kingdom on a V5 document. She is classed as an historic vehicle. She is very eligible for the multitude of historic period motorcycle events especially around the Aermacchi's motherland, Italy, the most famous being the 'Moto Giro d'Italia'. Imagine 5 days touring Tuscany, Umbria, The Veneto and San Marino on this classic Italian thoroughbred sports bike..... what is not to like?
