The B3 was Alpina's take on BMW's E36, an M3 for those that are just a touch more discerning
It succeeded the B6 2. 8/ 2 and was based on the E36 325i with the displacement taken out to 3-litres
It now offered 250bhp, 320lbs/ ft, 0-60 in 6. 1 seconds and 164mph
This particular car was specified with BMW's 'Individual Package' and is finished in Montreal Blue with a light grey leather interior and sits on a set of multi-spoke Alpina alloys
It's one of 93 3-litre B3s imported by Frank Sytner and has been enjoyed by four owners from new
Purchased by our vendor ten years ago in need of a paint/ lacquer refresh but that never happened
It does run and drive, however it needs to be considered as a 'rolling restoration'
