VEHICLE DESCRIPTION & HISTORY
Styled initially by the aerodynamicist Malcolm Sayer and completed by the in house Jaguar design team headed by Doug Thorpe the XJS was introduced in September 1975. The XJS was relaunched in its final form in May 1991.
This XJS V12 was registered in November 1992 and has had just six owners and covered just 63, 500 miles since new. In recent years the car has benefited from a lot of improvements, including the fitting of : tubular manifolds , a stainless steel exhaust, drilled discs, high torque starter motor, K/ N air filters and Hyper sport split rim wheels.
The car looks stunning in Kingfisher blue and has clearly been fastidiously maintained during its life. The interior is immaculate and the sand coloured leather shows little sign of wear. The steering wheel has been replaced with a three spoke Motolita, although the car does come with the original steering wheel.
