Very nice clean and original condition
Original book pack from new
Matching Goodyear tyres
Very pleasing colour combination

We are pleased to offer this nice Triumph TR7 Convertible finished in a very pleasing shade of red with contrasting blue tartan trim and a black hood. The hood would appear to be new, as it is extremely clean and has clear rear screens. In fact, the whole car is in very good condition due to a restoration in the early 2000s and having been very well cared for ever since. The TR7 still has its original book pack with handbooks, radio instructions and manuals, and its original service book which tells us that it was supplied new to a Mr Tiffle of Hertfordshire by Dunham & Haines Ltd of Luton on 1/ 8/ 1982. The nice thing on top of that, is that amazingly the TR7 has only had 4 owners in total - a rare low ownership example.

The TR7 has a nice history containing old MOTs, along with a current MOT until September 2024 even though it is exempt which shows how much the car has been cared for and should give you some confidence of how nice it is. The history continues with photographs, some invoices and a detailed written sheet explaining what was carried out on the restoration in the early 2000s as follows:

“Subject to restoration in early 2000s, there are invoices for labour and parts totalling £3, 490 from Ian Brainbridge Motor Bodies Repairs in Penrith. Further invoices show that wheel arch repair panels, lower sills and an offside front wing panel were purchased for restoration work. To remedy rusted lower door skins, inner lower rear pods, bonnet and bulkhead and front inner arches. Cavity wax was used and also black wax on the underside. The second owner acquired the car in 1984 up until 2023.

New hood fitted
5 brand new tyres (Goodyear)
New battery
Discs and pads
Shockers
Full service

The original radio in working order, tested until September no advisories, too many new parts fitted as you can see in engine bay.”

As you can see this is quite comprehensive and shows how well this TR7 has been cared for. If you wish to come and see it, you can at our purpose built facility in Cheshire. Just give us a call to make an appointment and hopefully you will agree with us on just how nice this lovely Triumph really is. You don’t come across them like this very often, definitely a future investment and a very enjoyable car to boot.
