Description
We have a 1965 Porsche 911 2. 0 with original sunroof, in concourse condition. This is a rather special 911 from the 302 chassis number series. Competition Motors in Culver City, California, USA supplied it on the 19 October 1965. The car was garaged in the States for many years. Over the years it has been perfectly preserved, completely original and unadulterated. This was the basis before being fully restored to its former glory. Recently restored and mechanically perfected by a renowned Belgian Porsche specialist. Technically speaking, this car is better than when it rolled of the production line, it is in full working order and drives to perfection! Using only the correct materials the interior trim was totally renewed. This car is in an absolute concourse condition, with every little detail being exactly identical to the car supplied in October 1965. The restoration has been meticulously documented with many photos and invoices. As one should expect, the car has been finished in its original colour scheme of ‘Sandbeige 6607 B’ and black vinyl interior trim. The car has its original, matching numbers, 2. 0 engine. It has an unusual and rare factory-fitted extra in the form of an electrically operated sunroof. Of all the 301 and 302 series, only 40 examples, worldwide, remain on the register! The car comes with the supply document (Kardex) and a Porsche certificate confirming all numbers and options, including the sunroof. The car has driven less then 300 kilometers since the restoration. This 1965 Porsche 911, in its concourse restored, factory fresh, A-1 condition, is with out a doubt one of the best now available!
