Description

In 1935 Morris Motors introduced the Morris 12. The Chassis was a copy of the American Hudson Terraplane example, a move that was the next step towards monocoque construction. A 1548 cc side valve 4 cylinder engine powered the tweve, driving through a 3 speed gearbox.

The quite splendid example we offer here has had just 4 owners since 1935, the first owner kept the car for the first 60 years of its life. The engine was rebuilt by a motor engineer including a crank regrind. Fitted with discrete indicators as well as the old fashioned semaphore type. Front opening windscreen and working sun roof. The Morris has the rear mounted luggage rack below the boot line. The engine fires up first time and burns little or no oil. The car presents particularly well with what we believe to be the original upholstery.

An ideal addition to a Morris collection. Ready to show.
