Description
This lot will be auctioned via Classic Car Auctions, The Classic Car Sale at Stoneleigh Park 2024 on Saturday the 28th of September, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, CV8 2LG.
One of the best known and most readily recognised of Vintage-era cars, the 'Bullnose' Morris had its roots in the Edwardian era
Painstakingly restored with around £30, 000 invested to bring this handsome Morris back to life
During the restoration, it was established that the chassis was beyond repair so a 1924 chassis was sourced in great condition
Bespoke hand-crafted Ash frame and aluminium panels by The Cooke Group of Leicester
Most of the car was supplied in boxes and mechanically rebuilt by our engineer vendor
The Bullnose Club offered endless help in registering the Morris back on the road
Supplied with a huge history file with, photographic evidence of the restoration, some lovely period photos, the original 'buff' logbook, 1952 tax disc, lots of receipts for parts and work carried out and a couple of maintenance manuals
Lovingly and accurately rebuilt, with only a handful of miles since, this is almost a 'brand new' old Bullnose at a fraction of the cost of its build
NB: The car has all the cut panels for the door cards just to be finished off, and the hood frame has been restored but will require covering
