Inspired by the Lotus XI, the most beautiful and aerodynamic sports racing car of the 1950's, the first Westfield XI was built by grand prix competitor Chris Smith in the garage of his home in Westfield House. Requests from enthusiasts wanting XI's of their own resulted in the formation of Westfield Sports Cars in 1982.

Rebuilt and assembled with a Engine 1275cc 'A' Series, gearbox and ancillaries.
Engine built using Swiftune pistons, Billet Camshaft - rebuild kit, main bearing set, big end bearing set and thrust washer set in 2016
Swiftune supplied bosh blue coil, engine, water pump gaskets and NGK Spark plug set fitted.
Front uprights (King pin) including brake calliper, disc and steering arm.
Steering rack and mounts (lower modification by Westfield sportscars)
Dashboard instruments.
Radiator
Handbrake cable and linkage
Rear axle (modification by Westfield sportscars)

Engine & gearbox rubber mountings.
Westfield supplying the following:
Chassis, Bodywork, panels, wishbones, brake pipe kit, top and bottom steering column and lock, shocks and springs, fuel tank complete with the sender unit, lamp sets, seats, carpets, exhaust and the pedal box and master cylinder.
