Jaguar MK2 3. 4 manual overdrive, a lovingly restored example. First registered May 1963 and supplied by Henlys London, this is a matching numbers car. Finished in Dark Opalescent Metallic Blue with Cream Leather, piped Blue. The car had an extensive restoration back in 1994, followed by a further restoration in 2014. The later restoration included a full re-paint inside and out, full interior re-trim and all new wood veneers. New chrome, brake lines, fuel lines, wiring loom, back axle rebuild, front suspension/ subframe rebuild and engine rebuild by Paul Nash Racing. At this time such upgrades as rack and pinion power steering, BCC 4 pot light weight brake callipers and Coombs rear wheel spats were fitted. In 2020 the car had more work which included carbs stripped, cleaned and set, rear brakes overhauled and painted, plus engine serviced. At this time the heater was stripped and rebuilt plus further upgrades were fitted including electronic ignition, Dab radio and windscreen aerial. The car stands on chrome wire wheels with excellent period tyres. A large history file comes with the car, original tool kit, plus invoices and heritage certificate.
