So a 1978 MGB Roadster, first off pictures do flatter a bit paint looks wonderful in the pics but its tired and she really wants another coat of make up if you want her to look the business , she's an old MGB and even perfect ones ,, well err aren't or its only temporary , they are a labour of love and with love they reward you with an old school driving experience to put a smile on your chops from ear to ear, this one has been owned by an elderly gent since 2011 and has an awful lot of history receipt's
The chap has now given up driving classics and has bought a more modern hatch it was and is running fine , drove it back about 20- miles and it was great ,,, today , tomorrow may be a different story half the fun of classics but always an easy fix with parts in plentiful supply
Underneath is pretty good with a bit of bubbling towards the rear sill end being the worst in my opinion feel free to come and tell me yours
Roof whilst old is a bit tired and some old chap repairs have been done to the 2 small side windows you can get decent second hand tops for a couple of hundred quid with the frames on ebay
It will need paint to bring it up to scratch see video and pics its a great 5 yarder but bits of bubbling , dull patches and micro blisters are your new friend up front
Selling as a project ,, Why I hear you ask , well its a 46 year old car , from experience things like rubber pipes etc can be perished , relays can let you down and it wants using a bit gingerly around your local area to iron out any faults that may occur , I don't want to warranty it or give the impression you can drive to the South of France in it tomorrow , you probably could make it but on the same token you might not and I don't want that call.
Sensible folk know exactly where I am coming from
