Description
The Porsche 928 is a rare sight on the UK roads and was designed as a futuristic luxury cruiser to replace the 911. This car is the S4 version with the more desirable 5000cc 320HP V8 engine. The original documentation shows the car being supplied by Porsche dealers Swinford Motors of Stourbridge and has had only 5 owners in 37 years. There is a full service history with evidence of 17 services in those years. The last service was carried out last year and the 928 has covered less than 1000 miles since. Recent additional maintenance work includes a brake system overhaul, air conditioning overhaul and the cam belt and water pump were replaced less than 2000 miles ago.
The coachwork is finished in metallic silver with a special order parchment leather upholstery and carpets giving the interior a light and airy feel. The photographs show the body and the interior are in excellent condition. A set of Porsche 16'' GTS cup alloys with new Falken Ziex ZE310 tyres compliment the bodywork.
The car benefits from an electric sunroof, power steering, electric windows and automatic air conditioning, all in working condition.
This 928 also has an advisory free MOT until March 2025. Entered and used on the 2024 London to Brighton Classic Car Run and behaved without fault all day.
