Description
Beautiful to look at and wonderful to drive, that is without a doubt characteristic of this beautiful Triumph TR3A. This sporty open two-seater was produced in 1958 and originally delivered to Germany and shortly afterwards moved to the United States. After a long time, the car has returned to Europe, namely France. After driving in France for several years, the car has recently arrived in the Netherlands.
This fully matching-number Triumph TR3 A is in exceptionally beautiful condition. The beautiful Signal Red body color still has its beautiful deep shine and the various chrome and trim parts are also in very good condition. The body parts fit together nicely and well and the rubber parts are also still in good condition. The convertible top and side screens are still in very good condition. The stylish spoke rims with chrome wing nuts form a perfect combination for this English roadster.
The interior is in very good condition. It's not particularly cared for, but also in almost perfect condition. The chairs fit very well and are still completely intact. The dashboard is also still in very good condition and all instruments work properly. The beautiful large original (banjo) steering wheel fits firmly in the hand and everything feels good and solid.
The car is very well maintained and cared for, which is clearly visible and noticeable when you drive. This Triumph TR3 is equipped with electronic ignition and the SU carburetors have recently been completely overhauled. This stylish roadster drives very comfortably and wonderfully. The still original engine runs very nice and quietly. The brakes feel solid and the car shifts very smoothly. We are not exaggerating when we say that this Triumph TR3A is a very desirable classic, both to drive and to look at.
