Finished in metallic black(Nero Daytona)with full sand hide (sabbia)stitched in black with black Alcantara carpets. The car was FACTORY optioned with the Handling GTE package (Handling Gran Turismo Evoluzione) package a £14, 200 option when new. Alcantara carpets, additional carbon fibre interior trim and Handling GTE embroidered on the headrest, items NOT available if the package was retrospectively fitted.

Technically, the package includes a modified set-up with stiffer springs and rear anti-roll bar as well as new calibration settings for the magnetorheological shock absorbers when the Manettino is at is sportier settings (SPORT, RACE and CST-off). The ride height has also been lowered , which in turn lowers the cars centre of gravity , improving body control. The latter is also enhanced by tyres specifically optimised for the Package and featuring a compound that offers even better grip.
The F1 gearbox's shifts are now even faster in high performance settings , while a new engine software strategy has improved accelerator response across the board.
Stylistically , the package offers a distinctive new sporty exterior and interior feature with carbon-fibre widely used in the latter, lending the car a more track inspired look"
