Description
The Ferrari 400 replaced the 365 GT4 2+2 when it was shown to the public for the first time in Geneva in 1976. Externally, it differed from its predecessor only in details such as the new four instead of six rear lights. Under Pininfarina's bodywork, however, there were innovations: The engine was enlarged to 4. 8 litres and initially powered by Weber carburettors, from 1979 onwards by a Bosch K-Jetronic.
