This Ferrari 328GTS was delivered to its first UK owner by Maranello Concessionaires on January 20th 1988. The owner opted for the Targa version, also known as the GTS, in the colour scheme Rosso Corsa Ferrari (300) with Magnolia leather upholstery. The car has an incredibly low 25, 800 miles which are fully documented.
The history folder documents an extensive and correct service record. Since 2005 the car has been serviced by Nick Cartwright, one of the UK’s leading Ferrari specialists. All required work has been carried out as required. A major service, including cambelts will happen as part of this sale.
The current Irish owner purchased the car in 2018 and has taken very good care of it. The bodywork is in excellent condition and looks great. The hood closes neatly, as do the doors and the roof. The headlights and wheels are in like new condition. The paint is beautiful, with a deep factory fresh shine all over.
The interior is upholstered in Magnolia leather and is virtually unmarked and red carpets are fitted. The instruments and controls are all in very good condition and look very nice and well-kept. The Targa roof seals are also in excellent condition. The roof is easy to operate and can be stored behind the seats, so you won’t be caught off guard by a sudden rain shower. An additional advantage of the Targa roof is the beautiful contrast with the Rosso Corsa paint.
The mechanics have been very well maintained over the years. The 3. 2-litre V8 is mounted transversely at the rear and delivers 270 hp. The engine is equipped with Bosch fuel injection which responds instantly to the throttle. The sound of the eight-cylinder engine right behind you is unmatched and typically Ferrari. The engine is paired with a five-speed “dog leg” manual transmission that shifts precisely and has perfect gear ratios.
In short, a beautiful low mileage Ferrari 328 GTS with correct history and in a stunning colour scheme.
