The pinnacle of McLaren’s Super Series and repeatedly voted the best car that McLaren have produced, the 675LT is the ultimate driver’s car, developing 666bhp with incredible handling characteristics to match.
Launched at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show as a lightweight, track-focussed derivative of the 650S. Based around a single-piece carbon composite monocell weighing just 75kg, the 675LT was treated to a raft of weight-saving measures, bespoke ceramic brakes and a new aero package which both increased downforce by 40% and also added an air-brake facility to add retardation.
The revised 3. 8-litre twin-turbo McLaren V8 produces 675PS (666hp) and 700Nm of torque, driving through a 7-speed automatic dual-clutch gearbox, with improved software to reduce the shift time and allowing the driver to reach 62mph (100kmh) in a mere 2. 9 seconds, 200kmh (124mph) coming up in 8. 1 seconds, as the car hurtles to a claimed top speed of 203mph (327kmh).
The car:
Registered on 7th January 2017, this is a very late car and may well be the only one in the UK in the launch colour of Solis Metallic, which was specific to the 675LT Spider and not available on the coupé.
The car was specified with MSO bespoke interior in Crema leather making this a unique example, the only one in Solis with a Crema interior.
Other options include MSO louvered body-coloured front wings, carbon fibre side intakes, electric heated leather seats, vehicle lifting, parking sensors and reversing camera, branded floor mats, fitted car cover, lithium ion battery charger, vehicle tracker and half body paint protection film.
