(New Price) According to factory records, Chassis No. 47OR was sold new in 1929 the chassis's tailor was Hooper the attire Sedanca de Ville. This coachwork remained in place until the early 1970s. At this point, the present sporting tourer coachwork was fitted, before shipping the 47OR's new owner, Dr. John McCollum of Dillon, Montana, in 1973. Dr. McCollum kept 47OR until 1990 and re-imported to the UK and sold. This new owner was then cherished 47OR until 2014, when it was purchased by The Real Car Company. They undertook significant engine work, including a bottom-end rebuild with new white metal and new pistons. The Real Car Company continued to service 47OR for the next owner before brokering the sale to our client in the winter of 2023.
47OR is our client's first experience with a pre-war car. He quickly mastered the learning curve and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Now, he is ready for his next pre-war car and has taken a liking to another car we have off-market. Adhering to a strict one-in, one-out policy, 47OR is now offered for sale.
