Description
Completed in 1957, this beautiful 190 SL was, as most of the model, exported to the USA and registered there for the first time in February 1958. Many years ago, the Mercedes found its way back across the pond and from 1998 was with a new owner in Holland. There the roadster was completely restored by a Mercedes specialist. The coachwork was repainted in the chic and rather rare original colour “strawberry red” DB 543. The interior in cream coloured leather had been restored previously and was only refreshed and complemented with new carpets. All the work completed is well documented with the invoices available with the car. In 2021 this timeless 190 SL was taken over by the vendor and imported to Germany and registered on H-plates. Since then, the cabriolet has seen little use and therefore presents itself in very good condition with a fantastic paint job and faultless mechanics. The car boasts German documents with an H-plate.
