In the pictures you can see where it came out of storage and is very rusty and requires Full restoration, however the chassis is very solid. I have not even tried to start the engine or turn it over. There is no battery, the fuel pump will need replacing, but it is fairly complete. It has a wind-up division and 2 pop-up occasional seats in the rear + 3 seats in the far back and 3 seats in the front bench seat making 8 seats all told. But This is not for the faint hearted, but would make a GLORIOUS CAR WHEN FINISHED .. for sure.
The Reg no: DEL 55 goes with the car, ....... I had put it with an agency for one week and had 2 firm replies. But pulled it off as I had intentions of restoring it, but now do not have the time.
The short wheel base cars were 4. 3 litre, but the LWB were 5. 2 Straight 8, so I have been told
Also I am fairly sure that this car was registered new 1st in England/ UK as the registration number was issued in 1937 and was supplied by Buick Dealers 'Edwards of Bournemouth' I have no idea who owned it in the early days, but it would have been some prominent person indeed !
