The car was supplied new in Indigo Blue with Grey leather to a lady in Wiltshire who took the mileage to 75000 over 22 years.

The second owner bought the Jaguar in 1987, eventually selling it in 2015 during which period he covered a further 27, 000 miles including numerous European tours. He began to find the Jaguar under powered, having left the factory as a 2. 4, so during the early 1990's the larger 3. 4 Litre engine was installed, together with a higher final drive ensuring that the car was capable of more relaxed, long distance touring. The car possesses its original all-synchromesh Jaguar gearbox with Overdrive. In 2012, the car also underwent a full bare-metal repaint with any required repairs as witnessed by images held on file. The car presents beautifully with superb panels and gaps. Finished in its original Indigo Blue, the car has also had a complete retrim in its original Grey with new carpets, headlining and refurbished wood.
