This is not your regular 400. This car has been subjected to significant expenditure to turn it into one of the finest examples you will come across.

In 2017, the car was sent to Classic World Racing (David Gerald TVR as they were) for a full body off restoration, interior retrim, and paint rectification, to bring the car back to its former glory.
This included,
• Shot blast and powder coating of chassis and wishbones
• Replacing all bushes and mountings
• Fitment of carbon fibre dash
• New boots and gaiters
• Powder coating of rocker covers
• New carpet set, with retrimming of leather interior sections
• Refurbishment of hood
• Upgraded front and rear lights
• New door seals
A CD is included in the history file showing these works.
The last owner purchased the car in 2022 and then continued to lavish huge sums on the car, chasing perfection. He’s only changed as he was tempted by a very special, low-mileage T350 we had in.
In late 2022, he had the latest Canems fully programmable ECU conversion, along with a set of Bosch EV6 fuel injectors. The car now runs and drives as any Chimaera should, removing much of the low-speed shunting, and generally improving drivability.
In Summer 2023, the clutch was then replaced, along with the head gaskets.

Refurbished steering rack, new alarm, rear main oil seal, new fuel sender, new battery, ACT silicone hose kit, and the all-important camshaft replacement, with new chain kit etc.

The chassis is still in absolutely superb condition, and viewing is highly recommended. The interior is superb and fresh, and the paintwork presents very well indeed, with just a few chips to the front end, but overall this is in better condition than most we see with half the mileage!
