Description
As the successor to the TR3, the TR4 was produced from 1961 with styling by Giovanni Michelotti. In 1965, the car was revised and offered as the TR4A. The most important change was the independent rear suspension. There was also a different radiator grille, indicators on the front fenders and minor changes to the interior. The 2. 2 l engine remained unchanged. The Triumph on offer came with the extra of a “SurreyTop” which was a fixed rear window with removable metal and fabric roof sections. It also has an overdrive in 2nd/ 3rd and 4th gear. The TR4A is in good mechanical condition and has a 5/ 24 MFK inspection. The bodywork and interior show signs of wear and visual defects.
