A very rewarding project
Here we have an opportunity to get yourself a Daimler V8 250 finished in blue with grey leather and on the correct steel wheels and with good chrome. This example was put into storage by the vendor in 2012 with the intention of using the car but with too many others and business commitments, it never came out again until coming to us. The important thing is that the storage it went into was excellent, therefore the Daimler is in surprisingly good condition. The only thing the vendor has done was a bare metal respray when he got it, and it still looks remarkably good to this day due to the correct storage.
The vendor has written a little note explaining some history in his own words:
“Bought in 2012 from a garage in St. Helens where it had been stood for 4 to 5 years. Been garaged from 2012 and never moved or started, so possibly not started for 20 years. Will need some recommissioning”
Whilst this is the case, as previously said it is in great condition and with a little attention could be a great and rewarding project. It needs to be recommissioned and enjoyed again as it would be a shame to do anything else with it.
