1960 BT5 Matching Numbers Super 90 Porsche 356 finished in Slate Grey with UK Apple Green Hide.
This unique example of the Porsche 356 has undertaken a 4-year nut and bolt restoration and has been inspected and credited to the highest possible standard with an agreed insurance valuation alongside.
We believe there’s not another genuine 356 like this on the market, with it being a matching numbers car and correct paint code to suit original build. Provided with a Porsche authenticity certificate with build spec and numbers to prove this.
The current owner has owned the car for 6 years. The car's restoration was exhaustive, but thankfully he kept all original panels, doors etc (all doors, hood, boot have same codes) the plan from day one was to keep all the original metal that they could without cutting corners or compromising on strength.
Provided with hundreds of photos showing each stage of the build so you can buy with confidence. The current owner hunted the market for 2 years trying to find the correct car to suit what they wanted to achieve. They didn't want to paint a car slate grey without it being correct to the build spec. When the car was purchased, it had been resprayed red in the states but from talking to the owner and receiving the build certificate it was understood that it was originally painted slate grey, when he viewed the car, he removed the dash trim to see the slate grey still present and even more was uncovered on tear down.
When the restoration started it was always his intention to build an outlaw without making anything irreversible, the owner has also kept all original parts so if you wanted to return it stock this can be done within a few days.
This car has had many bespoke parts made with lots of design involved ensuring geometry is still correct at any ride height.
