Description
Delivered new in 1971, this Morris Mini started out life as a standard 1000cc.
Though there’s not much in the way of historic history of the cars life, it needn’t really matter, as the car we have here today has been adapted for a different way of life.
Built for purpose, and that purpose being to take part in historic road rallying, or racing, dependant on what the next owners preference may be!
Adaptations to the car are as follows:
Stage 4 1340cc engine, dyno’d @ 103. 4 BHP, 97 Lbs/ ft by Slark Race Engineering
12G940 polished and ported head
Twin tanks
Cooper S Discs
Close ratio Straight Cut Gearset with 4. 2 crown wheel and pinion Quaife LSD (lifetime warranty paperwork)
Negative camber bottom arms
Dural sump guard
Full cage
2. 2 Turn quick rack
KAD adjustable bias pedal box
Maniflow stage 2 competition exhaust manifold and system
Carbon fibre bonnet
Plumbed fire extinguisher
As I’m sure you can imagine, with the works that have been carried out to this Mini make for a pretty spritely drive indeed!
Underneath the car is all in good order, as are the sills and also the boot floor.
