A completely original and complete one owner 280CE C123 (0 previous owners). The car is presented in Silver Blue with a Velour Blue interior in very good condition. Bought and owned throughout its life by the Director and Owner of The London Fan Company. Complete with History File, Mercedes Benz Service Books, original manuals and all previous MOT’s including the original Bill of Sale from Alan Day Mercedes Benz of London.
The car was used up until 2016 and has been resting in a garage until very recently. The car has had full fluid and filter changes including flushes to the engine, cooling system, gearbox, braking system and fuel tank. Brakes have also been serviced. Both the rear callipers have been replaced, all the discs and pads. Distributer has also been replaced.
The car runs and drives very well with silky smooth gear changes and pulls strongly. The engine is naturally very sweet to hear. The Car has incredibly good Fundamentals to become a concourse car. It needs a light restoration to bring it back to its former best, Mainly the wheel arches which are entirely original. The bodywork and paint in general is solid with no lurking bubbles in the builkeads. Window surrounds on the body are completely free of rust. The underside and chassis is clean, dry and very solid. It has never been welded and is not in need of any welding to the underside.
The interior is complete, The seats have full integrity and support. the Velour is in exceptional condition. The front seats are in need of a clean only. the rear seats appear as if they have never been used. Boot is also clean, dry and completely original.
