DESCRIPTION
Introduced in 1984, the Porsche 911 Carrera 3. 2 was the last incarnation of the 'pure' 911 and was a replacement for the 'SC' model made between 1978 and 1983
The engine capacity was increased to 3. 2-litres, Bosch fuel injection fitted, and power was upped to 231bhp
EXTERNAL
The Porsche 911 3. 2 Carrera was introduced in 1984, replacing the long standing SC model. Engine power was raised to 231 BHP, providing increased performance and economy over the outgoing model
In 1985 the desirable M491 Supersport Equipment (SSE) option became available. A new car could be specified from the factory with full turbo bodywork, brakes, and suspension but without the turbo.
This model was known as the Carrera Supersport, and just 226 RHD examples came to the UK, of these only 75 were specified in Targa form, making this a very rare collectible air cooled Porsche 911
Finished in amazing 'Grand Prix White' the paintworks as it left the factory with pin sharp fit panels as Porsche intended. With aggressive wider wheel arches, rear whale tale spoiler, a black lip spoiler to the front and receiving a complete body restoration some 7 years to the tune of in excess of £60, 000 pounds this remains one of the very best out their today.

Once inside the Porsche 911 Targa you step back into the eighties of originality, With dark blue smooth leather electric seats with dark blue stitching in spotless condition
Switch gear along with the binnacles all work as intended along with the original Blaupunkt stereo

The flat six engine has been subject to a full specialist rebuild during the complete restoration and covered very little miles since

Mated to the flat six a five speed manual gearbox driving the rear wheels which also had a full refurbishment and shifts effortlessly and smoothly into gear

All suspension front and rear being replaced along with a new complete exhaust system the care and attention to detail given has been second to none
With reams of historic invoices from the engine and body rebuild along with old tax discs and previous mot certificates its heritage is unquestionable along with the sheer costings involved in making this one of the best examples out on the road today
