It carried over the classic Tamburini design from the legendary 916
SPS stands for Sport Production Special and the bike was as close to a race bike as you could get for the road, featuring an adjustable headstock for quick steering-angle changes
Lighter and more powerful than the standard bike, using a dual-injector per cylinder intake and a new carbon airbox along with lighter engine parts and titanium and carbon fibre chassis parts
Lightweight wheels with Showa fully adjustable forks and Ohlins adjustable rear shock
Fitted with Termignoni carbon fibre exhausts (original silencers supplied)
