Fritz Egli developed an all carrying frame for the Vincent twin during the sixties and sought to purchase the rights to manufacture the engine from Harper Engines. Unable to secure the rights he commenced production using refurbished power units. The frame was equipped with high quality front forks and a box section swinging arm. The result was considerably lighter than an original Vincent and equally exclusive and remains in limited production today, the rights having passed to Patrick Godet.
This 1968 Godet 1330 GT was built by Patrick Godet and the current owner who runs 2D Engineering over several years. The current owner worked with Patrick on many Godets engines with the design and to create more performance over many years and resulting in some truly wonderful machines. The vendor has cherished the Godet and has not used it very much at all, due to his work commitments. 2D Engineering has also been involved with JMC Classics with their Norvin specials. It has formed part of his small collection of machines and only being sold as he feels he will not ride it. A wonderful machine that would please its new owner. It is offered with a current V5C and some paperwork from Patrick.
