Manual and only 1 former keeper, Individual Atlantis Metallic, FSH, 77k miles.
EQUIPMENT
Individual Atlantis Metallic paintwork, Black Montana leather upholstery, 18-inch MV2 alloy wheels, 6-speed manual transmission, Electric folding soft top in black, Electrically-adjustable sports seats, M Sport Package, M Aerodynamics Package, Sport suspension, Multifunction M steering wheel in black Nappa leather, Rear parking sensors (PDC), Automatic Xenon headlamps, Rain-sensitive wipers, Automatic air conditioning, Front central armrest, Silver interior trim, BMW Business cassette radio, Headlamp washer system, On-board computer, BMW Individual door sill covers, Front fog lights, Alarm, Spare keys.
EXTERIOR
A rare sight in Individual Atlantis blue, and rarer still in manual, this 3. 0 M Sport cabrio presents very nicely indeed. The paintwork is bright and deeply glossy with no off-colour panels. As to be expected with largely original paint there is a dusting of light frontal stone chips and very minor imperfections but nothing to detract from the car’s overall highly impressive finish. The facelift headlights are crystal clear and she’s nice and straight along both sides. The black soft-top remains in very good original condition and can be lowered remotely from the key.
INTERIOR
The inside is a little more understated, with full black leather and contrasting silver trim. In line with the mileage the upholstery remains in good order with no major wear to either the seat bolsters or centre panels. The M Sport theme continues with a pristine M gear knob and a beautifully retrimmed steering wheel finished in smooth Nappa leather with tri-coloured M stitching. A common issue in E46s can be heavily scratched centre console plastics but we’re pleased to report that in this car both the ash tray and cubby hole lids remain in excellent condition. The dash and driver controls are also immaculate, and everything works just as it should including the AC.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The 3-litre straight-six is the pick of the bunch, offering effortless silky-smooth driving while still packing a punch when you need to get a shift on. Unlike most E46 cabrios sporting an automatic transmission this car boasts the sought-after manual box which makes for an engaging and thrilling drive. Lifting the bonnet, the engine bay is notably clean and tidy. In the hands of only 2 careful owners since new the car has always been maintained to a high standard. The last service was carried out in February 2024 less than 100 miles ago.
HISTORY FILE
This very nicely spec’d 330Ci Sport was supplied new by Grassicks BMW in August 2003. It has now driven 77k miles in the hands of only 2 registered keepers. The car was purchased by the current owner way back in 2010 but a new 911 means it’s time for this one to find a new home. The car has been regularly serviced at close mileage intervals with 15 stamps in the original service booklet (entries below). The last service was carried out in February 2024 and for additional peace of mind we have just had a full mechanical inspection carried out by our trusted classic car workshop. The accompanying history file comprises the original BMW document wallet and handbooks, a raft of invoices and MOT certificates, a spare remote key with the supplying dealer key fob, and the V5C showing only 1 former keeper.
